Airbrush Artist, Larry Price of North Carolina

Larry Price

Larry's unique perspective on perception, time, and color was refined during his time at East Carolina University. He was introduced to the art of airbrushing and has expanded his knowledge of art under the teachings of José Roldan and the mentorship of Dru Blair. His inspiration comes from the complex beauty found in nature, often producing scenic landscapes and water-themed pieces. Larry believes God is the ultimate artist, and he is marveled by how everything in nature fits together perfectly.

With over 50 years of experience behind the lens, Rick Ward brings a lifelong passion for photography and a deep appreciation for nature to his fine art work. His love for the outdoors shines through every image, capturing the beauty and essence of the natural world. Rick’s preferred medium is canvas, which enhances the painterly quality of his photographs and elevates each piece into a timeless work of art. His fine art canvas prints are designed to bring serenity, texture, and a sense of place into any home.

Stitchit By Marjorie

Marjorie has been a quilter and fiber artist for over 30 years. Her passion for teaching and designing original fiber pieces has led to the creation of her original "Dancing Lady's Series. She works in many styles and uses various stitching techniques to create pieces. Cotton is her favorite medium along with hand and machine quilting. Her publication, the "Coloring Book Design" was created to give children and seasoned adults a resource to use coloring for relaxing and enjoyment of quilt play on paper. She continues to teach and create one-of-a-kind quilt art. Her pieces have been purchased by local and national clients and art enthusiast. No two pieces are exactly alike. Whether traditional or modern; framed or free-hanging quilt art, her talent in quilt making is used to produce unique fiber art.

Alec Arts

Alec Campbell-Barner is an illustrator and an educator. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from East Carolina University and his Masters of Design from North Carolina State University. He fell in love with drawing at the young age of 4 and has studied art of drawing since middle school. As an artist he seeks to visualize and alter his various experiences on canvas, paper and with the use of technology. His artwork is crafted from the opportunities provided by imagination, seeking the fantastical, absurd, realistic, and the emotional. His illustrations are meant to excite, intrigue, and ask questions. Alec's background in creative writing allows his work to form a narrative and his images to allude to a deeper story. "A picture may contain a thousand words, but I would allow the viewer to rewrite them as they see fit."

Wayne Webster

Born in Brooklyn, NY, 1945, along with his identical twin brother, he began drawing and painting at the age of 7 an his first published work was a picture of Santa Claus, in the company magazine of Met Life located in New York City. At the age of 12, he completed his first framed oi painting, inspired by his cousin's grandfather, also an accomplished artist. His art is a concentration in florals, landscapes, buildings, and sea scenes. He is most influenced by abstract impressionist artists. His artwork favors bold colors in acrylics and soft washes in watercolors, and often finds a spot for Phtaic Blue in many of his works.

Linda Dumas Wade

Mixed Media and Folk Artists. Curator of Mustee Folk Art and a member of the Durham African American Quilt Circle, as well as the Franklin County Arts Council. Linda Wade began her art career in Dayton, OH, in the 1980s. She attended Sinclair Community College, majoring in Commercial Art and Executive Secretarial, obtaining her Associate's degree. She completed jewelry courses at the Riverbend Art Center of Dayton, OH, and studied wax sculpting, jewelry casting, and silversmithing. In 1993, she created Mustee Folk Art. Linda Wade's crafts and painting skills are self-taught. She has taught art to children at the Vital Link Private School in Raleigh, NC, and after-school programs in Bunn, NC. She also published Arts in Education: Color and Learn coloring and workbooks.
