First Friday – Summer Series: Stitch In Session

Art in Session is a relaxed summer evening series at the Artists Art Center, designed to bring people back outside to explore creativity, connect with local artists, and support small businesses in downtown Spring Hope. Held on the First Friday of June, July, and August from 5PM–8PM, with each month highlighting a different artistic medium and artist(s) through live demonstrations, acoustic music, interactive “try-it” stations, and casual community gathering.
This is not a formal class or large festival. Instead, Art in Session creates an approachable and family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can stroll downtown, shop local, experience artists actively creating in real time, and simply enjoy an evening immersed in the arts… and of course, shop!
🧵 June – Stitch in Session: Featuring fiber and textile arts including quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and hand stitching with resident artists Marjorie Barner of StitchIt Designs and teaching fellow Stacy Bohovsky of Hoof Print Knits. Watch creativity come together stitch by stitch while enjoying soft acoustic music and hands-on creative activities.
